Isolated fallopian tube torsion

Fallopian tube torsion is a rare cause of acute abdomen, occurring commonly in females reproductive age. It lacks pathognomonic symptoms, signs, or imaging features, thus causing delay surgical intervention. Current study report one case isolated fallopian adolescent girl. In this 13 year old patient presented with pain the right iliac region associated 3 episodes vomiting for day and severe tenderness on examination. Laparoscopy revealed sided twisted gangrenous fimbrial end. The was untwisted salpingectomy done. Salpingectomy done as gangrenous. torsion, though rare, should be considered women age unilateral pelvic pain. Early diagnostic laparoscopy important an accurate diagnosis could prevent rupture tube.
